LanSafe and FailSafe software manages Powerware UPS units: it watches the power state and shuts the system down safely during a long outage.

What the software does

It monitors mains and battery parameters, alerts on events and, by your rules, shuts equipment down safely so you don't lose data.

How the UPS connects

The UPS connects to a computer or server over USB or RS-232; in networked setups, through a management card over Ethernet.
